Clinical Dental Technicians or CDT’s are the newest addition to the Dental Team. In order to provide Dentures to the public they must be qualified and registered with the General Dental Council.
A CDT is devoted to the fabrication and repair of Dentures, and provides a cost effective and time effective service.

Clinical Dental Technicians may see fully edentulous patients (those with no natural teeth) without the need of a referral] from a Dentist.
In the case of partial Dentures, patients may only see a clinical Dental Technician once they have obtained a written treatment plan and oral health check from a Dentist. |
It is for this reason Wessex Denture Studio has routes of referral to a number of Dentists, so that if you do not have one, we can refer you. Your Dentist can also refer you to a Clinical Dental Technician.
